Whether you're brand new to the game or just getting started, Huron Valley Volleyball Club offers a fun, supportive environment to learn the basics, build confidence, and fall in love with volleyball. Discover how to join, what to expect, and where to begin your journey on the court.

Anyone! Volleyball is a fun, fast-paced sport for everyone, and at HVVC, we believe that every athlete deserves the chance to play, grow, and compete—no matter their skill level or experience.

We offer a variety of programs designed to meet athletes where they are:

  • Beginner to Advanced Teams

  • Developmental Programs for new players

  • Competitive Teams for experienced athletes

  • Training Sessions to build skills and confidence

We also proudly offer co-ed volleyball for our younger players—boys are welcome to participate through 6th grade.

Looking for summer opportunities? Our Summer Camps are open to all athletes ages 10–18, girls and boys—no experience required!

📊 National High School Participation (2023–24)
  • Girls' High School Volleyball: According to the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), 479,125 girls participated in high school volleyball during the 2023–24 school year. This represents an increase of 8,637 participants (1.8%) from the previous year and marks the highest number ever recorded for the sport in NFHS reports. 

  • Top Girls' Team Sports: Volleyball maintained its position as the second most popular girls' high school sport, following outdoor track and field (506,015 participants), and ahead of soccer (383,895 participants).

📈 Youth Volleyball Trends
  • Youth Participation Growth: In 2024, i9 Sports reported a 33% increase in volleyball registrations compared to 2023, adding nearly 13,000 new participants.

  • Club Volleyball (Ages 11–18): As of July 2023, USA Volleyball reported 333,208 junior girls registered with clubs, marking a 40% increase since the 2013–14 season.

📍 Regional Highlights
  • Michigan: The Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) reported 19,119 girls participating in high school volleyball during the 2023–24 school year, making it one of the top sports for girls in the state.

Club volleyball costs can vary widely depending on the level of the team, the number and location of tournaments, and whether the club is local, regional, or national in scope.

At HVVC, we’re committed to being transparent about our fees and what they include. Costs typically cover:

  • Gym rental and equipment

  • Tournament entry fees

  • Coaching and administrative staff

  • Uniforms and gear

  • Club insurance and overhead

Some programs may also include travel costs, while others leave travel arrangements up to families. We’ll always outline what’s included and what’s not before you commit.

Prices can range from a few hundred dollars for developmental teams to several thousand for travel teams that compete regionally or nationally. We also offer payment plans.
